FishEyeTabs 0.17

The concept of fisheye-style zooming has been around for decades. Fisheye-views have been studied in a more general context by George Furnas in the 1980s. In most cases a fisheye-view is an alternative to simple scrolling. A nice demo of the concept can be seen here. Another one using a slightly different approach is here. Mainstream applications of the idea include the Mac OS X dock, and some projects at the University of Maryland. Some people seem to like zooming interfaces while others find these annoying :)
